One of the goals of our program has always been to work with snow lines. We
had good snow females and females that carried for snow, but we didn't have
a snow male. That sent me on a search to find a male who we
were sure would produce snows for us. It was a lengthy search, almost 6
months, but finally the right kitten presented himself to us. This gorgeous
seal mink spotted boy is fabulous. He has tiny, rounded ears, a nice tail, a
gorgeous head with puffy whisker pads, a nice pattern with no rib bars, a
nice clear coat and he's covered in glitter. He has a wonderful temperment,
also. I haven't been able to get pictures that come close to him in person.
Since Phantom is a snow, his color will continue to change until he is 2
years old.
Phantom has already been shown, the day he turned 4 months old and tolerated
it very well. Hopefully this little guy will be able to follow in Sabor's
pawprints. I can't wait to see how this little guy develops and the kittens
he will produce with our girls. I am especially looking forward to kittens
from Rose with him. Just imagine her spots on a snow...
Thanks to Lori Prendergast of Diva's Den for allowing us to have this
special boy!

Phantom was shown in kitten class July 14-15. He took 3 finals and was the
only Bengal kitten to behave and handle well that weekend. He loves being
shown, purrs for all the judges. Watch out for him at the upcoming shows!

When I first started looking for a boy, I went around asking a bunch of different breeders if they
were selling their proven males. This brought me to Laura Ratliff of Goldspurr. I went to her
cattery to visit a different boy I was thinking about buying and I saw Sabor and knew he was the
one I really wanted. And what's not to love about this boy? He has jet black outlined rosettes, an
incredibly clear coat, thick tail, nice head and ears, he's structurally sound, and has an extremely
wild looking face with a straight profile. At 2 years old, Sabor still doesn't have a hint of
jowling.
Sabor has a fabulous temperament. When I first visited him, he greeted me at the door, followed me
around the house as I went to look at a couple litters of kittens and played with me when I was
done. It was almost like he knew he was going home with me! He exhibited the same wonderful
temperament in the show ring, often rolling over on judges tables for a belly rub and flopping over
in ring cages. He purred his way through many rings. He won a Supreme Grand Champion title in TICA
in 10 shows and also a regional win in just 8 shows. Sabor came from very nice lines on both sides
and has proven himself many times over with beautiful kittens who are now winning titles of their
own. He stamps that beautiful head and thick tail on almost all of the kittens he produces. We know
Sabor carries for marble and we are hoping he carries for lynx as he came from a very strong lynx
point line.
I can't thank Laura Ratliff enough for letting me have this boy!

|

24-25, 2007 show, taking home 2 finals that weekend.
|
Sabor was shown in Dayton, OH on March 10-11. It was a tough weekend with a
large class of 23 adult Bengals. Sabor still held his own, consistantly
placing in color and division and did manage to take home 1 final. Way to go
Sabor!
|

in another large Bengal class. He did manage to take a second best cat final
from judge Mary Lou Anderson.
|
Sabor was shown in Springfield, IL on April 14-15. Sabor did very well all
weekend. He was a crowd favorite and took home 3 finals including a Best Cat

more points. Way to go Sabor!!!
|
Sabor was shown May 5-6 in Franklin Park, IL. He received a 2nd best cat
final from Francine Hicks and collected some points for his Supreme title.
He is now only 140 points short. We are awaiting final confirmation of
Sabor's regional points for the show year, but unless there was a drastic
change, Sabor will also have a regional title!
|
Sabor finished out the 2006-2007 show year 18th best short hair cat and 2nd
best Bengal in the Great Lakes region. His last show will be in Milwaukee on
July 14-15 to pick up the last 100 points he needs to confirm his Supreme
title. We are so proud of what Sabor has been able to accomplish!
|
Sabor went to his last show July 14, 2007 in Milwaukee. All he needed was
points to confirm his Supreme, but in the last ring, he took a best cat
final from judge Stephanie Smith. I couldn't think of a better way for Sabor
to end his show career, so he retired from the rings a day early. He is now
enjoying life at home as our dedicated stud and producing awesome babies.
Our thanks to all the judges along the way who appreciated Sabor and gave
him these titles!
