  GRC Dadaelis Palu of Leopardfuzz
AKA "Palu"
Sonya
I was in absolute awe the first time I saw this little girl. Palu is a gorgeous seal lynx point spotted Bengal. She has everything - type, pattern, temperment - what more could I ask for? Palu is out of Dadaelis Supreme Sultan and Dadaelis Bastet. She is a full sister to Dadaelis Hearts Desire (Raoul), who won Best of the Best Bengal Kitten at On Safari 2006.

I just knew when I saw Palu's pictures that I had to have her. She has a very expressive, wild looking face, big nocturnal eyes, well-set rounded ears, straight profile, nice muzzle and chin, a pattern to die for with big two-toned donut and pawprint rosettes everywhere, spots to her toes, extreme contrast for her young age and a nice thick tail. Palu is sweet as sugar, always kneeding and purring away anytime she is petted or picked up. She loves to sleep in bed with us and enjoys car rides. Palu has already been shown as a kitten and makes a perfect show cat. She has been extremely easy for the judges to handle, always letting them get a good look at her and purrs through the rings. She took 4 finals and breed placement in 8 out of 10 rings in her first show!

When it comes to breeders, I don't think I could have asked for a better one than Marilyn Brown, who bred our amazing Palu. She was more than accomodating and met us more than halfway, which I truly appreciate.

Thanks again, Marilyn, for letting this awesome girl be a part of our family!

Palu's Show Updates

Palu had a very successful kitten show career. She racked up a ton of points and final ribbons! She handles like a dream at every show and has never come across a judge that she doesn't purr for. We are anticipating the adult show career of this little girl.
Palu's first adult show was December 29-30, 2007 in Janesville, WI. She took 5 finals and 1510 points in just 2 days! She ended the weekend just 1 final shy of her Grand Championship. Way to go Palu!!!
Palu's second adult show was January 26-27, 2008 in Wheaton, IL. Palu is a very dainty little girl and was up against large males all weekend. She did receive several breed placement awards, but no finals.
Palu was shown February 23 in Wheaton, IL. She took several Best of Breed placements. It was a tough weekend for all Bengals, though, and she did not take any finals.
Palu was shown March 29 and 30 in Rosemont, IL. She won her Grand Champion title there, taking a final from Bill Lee in the Red, White and Blue congress. There were 56 cats entered and Palu took 8th Best Cat. In just 4 shows Palu has racked up over 3300 points and just lacks 3 finals to be a QGC.
  Cazpurr Sprite of Leopardfuzz
Sonya
Sprite is a kitten back that we received from Linda Johnson of Cazpurr Bengals. She was born July 4, 2007. Based on pedigree alone, Sprite is a knockout. She is out of Cazpurr Anudis (son of RW SGC Cazpurr All That Jazz) and Calcatta's Custom Design of Cazpurr (daughter of RW SGC Calcatta's Custom Made).

Beyond pedigree, though, Sprite has a very clear coat with inky black donut rosettes. She also has a thick tail, nice jaw line and well set ears. Sprite named herself for us, as she acts like a little sprite. She will swat at another cat or bite their tail - something to start a fight - but when the other cats chase after her, she always runs to one of us to protect her. Sprite is bratty, but at the same time she is very sweet. At the end of playtime she likes to lay on the couch next to someone and that motor is always running.

Thanks, Linda, Sprite has settled in well here.

  GRC Leopardfuzz Soņador
AKA "Sonya"
Sonya
Soņa is our first homegrown queen at Leopardfuzz. She is out of Aurora and Sabor. She was born in our very first litter of kittens. I swore I wouldn't keep anything out of our first litter, I swore I wouldn't keep anything until I was ready to retire one of our other breeders, to the point that I almost let Soņa go
This little girl is very special to us. Soņa is a brown marble. She has a beautiful pattern, an amazingly clear coat, her dad's gorgeous head, nice expression, a thick tail, a wonderful pelted coat, glitter and a bleach white tummy. To make her even better, her temperment is loving and sweet to everyone. She will knead and purr and always seems to find her way into someone's lap. Soņa also likes to ride around on shoulders like a little parrot.
Soņa is everything we hoped she would be. She will carry for snow and marble and rosettes. Soņa will be hitting the show circuit in March. Watch for her!

Sonya's Show Updates

Soņa was shown in Kalamazoo, MI on March 31-April 1. She did well in a large kitten class. She placed 1st in color in 1 ring and 2nd in color in more. Everyone who has seen her in action has said what a pistol she is, so she was allowed to run the agility ring. Even though she is still tiny and got a little hung up on the jumps, she managed to run a clean course in 7.8 seconds. That was good enough for 2nd best kitten. Watch out for this little firecracker at the ICAT competitions in addition to her normal show rings! To learn more about cat agility, please check out the ICAT website. http://www.catagility.com
Soņa was shown in Springfield, IL on April 14-15. She did very well there and even managed to take home a 5th best Allbreed kitten final!
Sonya was shown July 14-15. She championed, taking 2 finals. She even placed higher than her dad in 1 ring on Saturday! She was just barely 8 months old for this show, but was able to hold her ground in a class of nice males. Way to go Sonya!
Soņa was shown in St. Francis, WI on October 27-28, 2007. She was up against a nice class of males, but still held her own, taking 1 final from judge Mike Hammond, who commented that her pattern and type was exactly what he expected to see on a marble Bengal and that she was a true example of the breed. Thanks Mike!
Soņa was shown in Janesville, WI December 29-30. Soņa placed very well all weekend, taking the 3 finals she needed to earn her Grand Championship. In her show career, Soņa has racked up over 3000 points and just lacks 2 finals to be a TGC. We are now going to take Soņa away from the show ring for a few months in favor of motherhood. We may bring her back out over the summer to try for the finals she needs. If we decide not to, we are still so proud of what our first homegrown baby girl has been able to accomplish. Thank you to all the judges who recognized the success we are having in our program.
  Legacie Briar Rose of LeopardFuzz
a.k.a."Rose"
Rose
"Wow!" is the first thing most people say when they see Rose. It was what I said the first time I saw her. This gorgeous girl is out of Legacie Electrifying and Legacie Lexis.
Rose has a wonderfully mellow temperment and is such a little love bug. She will curl up on your lap and knead and purr and roll over on her back to get a belly rub. She is a little more shy and reserved, but you can hear her motor running from across a room when she warms up to you.
Rose has huge open rosettes - almost like jaguar spots, beautiful horizontal chaining down her back, an incredible clear golden coat with amazing contrast and whited goggles and muzzle. Rose might carry for marble and possibly seal lynx, but only time will tell.

Thanks to Jill Orman for this little beauty.

  SpottedPaws Porsche of LeopardFuzz
a.k.a. "Aurora"
Aurora
Aurora is our first breeding queen at LeopardFuzz. She is out of DGC SpottedPaws Harley D and Absolutely Champaigne Wishes of SpottedPaws. Harley was the 2002, 2003 and 2004 ACFA Inter-American Best Seal Lynx Point Marble. Aurora is a full sister of Mushu, one of our other Bengals.
Aurora has a wonderful temperment - she will greet anyone walking through our door and always loves to knead and purr.
She also has a beautiful pattern with spots to her toes, horizontal chaining, virtually no backstripe and no barring. Since snow bengals like Aurora take 2 years to fully clear from the fuzzies and develop color, we are just now starting to see rosetting coming out on her and her coat clearing into its adult coloring.
Pictures really do not do her justice, she is much more beautiful in person. Aurora will carry for marble and seal lynx and seal mink colors (seal sepias will be possible if we breed her to another seal mink), she also has a whited tummy, muzzle and goggles which will hopefully pass into brown lines.

Thanks to Joe & Betty Rosera for this wonderful girl.
